What science ideas did you learn?
The science ideas we learned this week is how light is like a person. We learned how people and light differ too. We learned more about reflection, refraction, and the bending of light. We also learned about what would happen when light hits different surfaces, such as water and air. This week we also visited the carnival of science! yey!!!!! We visited six different stations all about light and how it works. This week we discussed waves and particles, we saw how they are alike, and how they are different. We also reviewed a lot about what we had been doing through out this unit, since there is a test coming up on MONDAY!!
How did you learn these ideas?
We learned these ideas by experimenting, testing, creating hypothesis, and discussing. We discussed about our experiments and hypothesis with our group members, which is good because talking with your peers can really help some people. It can give them a different perspective of what they think about light. Discussing with peers also shows you that your idea may not be the only idea, but that there are many ideas!
Why is it important to know this idea?
It is important to know these ideas about light because we have a test on Monday!!!!! We also need to know these ideas because light is all around us and we need to understand about how it works and how we see.
